He and his wife made their home in Henry County, then Pittsylvania County, and before that Halifax County.
He was elected vestryman in the newly-formed Antrim Parish of Halifax County, Virginia in 1756. He
was still in Halifax County in 1767 as he was on the list of tithables in that year.
