Bill owned a floating cannery in Cordova, AK and as a result of one of the earthquakes, the cannery was beached. Bill hired a man to be caretaker of the cannery during the off season when he was here in WA. Upon returning to AK there was some sort of a disagreement and the man shot and killed Bill. That was sometime before 1969, but I don’t know the exact date.
