About William F. (Willie) Eley:

Willie and father John A. both show up in the 1910 Census, AR, Hempstead Co., Redland TS, living with Henry Bynum Eley. Willie is shown as a nephew to Henry, and John as Henry's brother. It appears that John's marital status is marked as "W" for widower, although the entry is not clear. I believe that Willie was born in 1902 and his mother died between then and 1910. The 1920 Census, same location, shows Willie living as a nephew with James Lymon Eley, who was another brother of John A.

Found in the 1930 Census, AR, Ouachita Co., Washington TS, ED 29, sh. 6B, img. 12. Willie and his three children were found living with his former father-in-law Henry Hardy. His wife had previously died in 1928. His occupation was listed as "Roustabout" in the "Crude Oil" industry.

Willie worked in the oil fields. He was killed in an on the job accident.

In the Ark. Index of Deaths, the first three letters of his middle name are given as "Fra", possibly Francis, Frank?
