Sampson Pummel was found in the 1830 Census, OH, Highland Co., Paint TS, p. 83, img. 7. It showed:

males 20-30, 1 male 10-13, 1 female 20-30, 1 female 5-10, 1 female under 5. This is probably the right
person, possibly with a grown relative with children living with him. He would have been around 25,
so possibly one or two of the youngest children could have been his. There are two other Pummels living
in the same county, John and Hezekiah, possibly related. Hezekiah is 40-50 years old.
