About Leonard William (Chip) Ferguson, Jr.:

Leonard, or "Chip" as he is called, was born and raised in Shreveport, LA. He joined the Army during WWII and served in Europe. After the war, he returned home to Shreveport and went to work as a switchman for Illinois Central Railroad, where he remained until he retired in 1986. After retirement he and his wife Marie moved to Zwolle, LA.
